Red lights from Albany area travelled 5-7 degrees west to northwest

9:45PM 5/11/12 observed red lights in the Northwest quadrant of the night sky. Each red light traveled 5-7 degrees in the evening sky before disappearing. Short Hook at the end of travel. Formed a triangular pattern as they crossed the sky. Started about 2 degrees off the horizon and traveled west to northwest .in the triangular pattern. To the east is Harriman-West airport military authorized jet repair facility. Thought the group may have been nighttime helicopter maneuvers but activities stuck to the west-northwest quadrant never making it over to the eastern night sky.

The brightly consistent lights maintained themselves for the 5-7 degree period before disappearing.
