Unusual and astonishing to see this.

While driving my car on I-95 I saw an object that was blue and green and red at its tip and it had a white tail that was intermittant. This object went from south to north and had an arc type of movement. I at first thought that it was a rocket and looked to my right to see if it would explode or crash, but it just vanished. It had to be moving at a tremendous speed for I saw it covered the arc of the night sky from south to north in two seconds.
