huge green flashing light low to the ground in missouri i was on hwy 89 south outside of linn mo. going home from work. it was getting dark so i dont know what shape it was. it had a green light that was rectangle and was going on and off. it would come on for maybe a half second and then off a half second. the light was huge so i know what ever it was i was seeing was huge. it was very low to the ground and i could not hear anything. there was a blimp from dish net work at the airport that next week and i wrote it off as that. i was told at a dinner my girlfriend was having a couple weeks later that a brother of one of the guests saw it to and it acted as if it were following them. then i told what i saw. i dont know what it was but..... when i saw it, i knew what i was looking at but could not wrap my brain around it. i had a vehicle come over the hill behind me and the light in my rear view mirror got my attention. when i looked back at it it was just gone...nothing that big could have just been gone...but ! it was. it was looked very close to my truck but it was so big i dont know how close because it was getting dark. i do remember my window was down and i didnt hear it. a blimp would not just have been gone....maybe someone else reported it and this will back it up ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides little contact information.
