Shape: Circle
Duration: 1 hour
Characteristics: There were lights on the object, There was an aura or haze around the object, The object emitted other objects, The object emitted beams, The object changed color
It first appeared to be a glittering star drifting left to right and then upward.

January 30th, 2012 I was waiting for the coffee to brew on my couch at 5am this morning. I noticed what appeared to be a large yellowish flickering star. It appeared to be moving left to right. The movement was so slow I doubted myself. I only became very interested in what I was seeing when I noticed the object move upward. I called my wife and we both watch the object. The object had a very noticeable red light and an occasional aqua light glimmering off one side.

I retrieved my 8x30 Leupold optics which worked amazing. As the object got closer it became almost transparent. I would compare it to the look of a jelly fish, Translucent with a notable shape and appearance.

I then noticed another object approach from under the first object. It was the exact same in appearance. The initial object casted a light which seemed to draw the second object toward it . There was an obvious line separating the two close objects. This is when a black circle appeared (had a very perfect shape with a light outline) and went back and forth between the two objects. I would say the black circle was 1/3 the size of the two object together.

This went on for only a minute, then the two original objects where one. I watched this entire event transpiring in amazement. The now one large circle began to glow. When it came close enough I was able to see into the shape. It was almost like veins running throughout the inside. There were light red and aqua flashes he whole time, some times more intense than others. I would describe this like a lighting storm contained inside this sphere.

This is when the object seemed to pick a path and started moving away and moving upward at a constant but slow pace. I watched the object until 6am. When my binoculars were not powerful enough to see detail in simply looked like a flickering yellow star.

This was truly an unexplained sighting. I would love any information you may have in concluding what my wife and I saw. I once witnessed an Aurora Borealis, I know science has explanations, Iíve never read about anything like this.
