It was then that I saw the brightest yellow star emitting lights around it. Well, about a week ago I saw a noticeably different star than the others, so I watched it for about 20 minutes. It was very yellow, like a bland yellow, and would have random blue and red flashing lights as well. Normally I wouldn't think anything of it because I'd assume it was just a plane or something. But it wasn't really moving. I went outside again the next hour and it was still there, in the exact same spot. As well as the hour after that. It was very creepy and eerie. I had started to stare at the sky because of all the stars and the little dipper was twinkling. And I believe it was Orion on the left side. The yellow "star" was in the middle of the two. Tonight, I was outside for a couple of minutes to smoke a cigarette as I regularly do. I looked up at the sky, to gaze at the stars as usual. I saw the little dipper twinkling again, so I looked to the left to see if Orion was there again, and it was. So I stared in the space between them, awaiting what I might see. I watched an airplane go by, to the left side, and as I kept watching, there, out of nowhere, another yellow star. It was very different from last week though. It was the brightest yellow, almost like a sun of its own kind. It was the brightest thing in the entire sky. I couldn't take my eyes away from it, and as I was watching it, these beams/rays of light started coming out of it like roots sprouting from a tree! There were four or five of the beams, some even seemed a little zig zagged. I was getting nervous so I kept turning away and going to the door, but then I would go and look again thinking my eyes were playing tricks on me, and they were still there. Still growing a little. I ran inside to get my younger brother, he's 18, to go look at it and tell me what he saw but he was asleep and his door was locked. I went back outside and watched it for a few more minutes, got nervous, and went inside and closed my door tightly.
