Saw a space ship hanging over the southern (Manzano) portion of the Sandia Mountains on evening. It was brightly lit, but not entirely. Saw lights hanging above the mountains that I never saw before, or since. I thought it could be as far away from me 5 miles in the direction of Kirkland Airforce base. But if it were that far I wouldn't really see it. I thought it may have been oval but there were bright lights preventing me from seeing the full body since it was dark out. It hung in the air. I eventually stopped watching it thinking it observing the area and might even see me watching it.
