At 11 PM on Friday Sept 30 2011 husband took the dog out back. he yelled at me to come quickly and look at the sky; in the east about 45 degrees from the horizon were about 7 to 8 or 9 (maybe there were more) large reddish-pink lights slowly moving south. They seemed to be pulsating slightly. not helicopters. not planes! They don’t seem right! There is no sound! Balloons? Not with that glow! What could move like that? Each disappeared one by one at the front end. There were a few wispy clouds behind them so we figured they had to be about 3 to 4 miles away and over East Vancouver. They seemed to be sort of floating (but not bobbing) in a loose formation - a C shape.

I ran back to grab my cell phone and managed to take 4 shots. the things were all gone after two to three minutes! I mailed the photos to my email and looked at them on the computer. The photos on the computer were disappointing because the lights looked so tiny and the sky was so black. They just looked like stars. I had not thought of shooting video at the moment. I was able to lighten the entire photo to show them up. I sent a text with photos to two local news stations - no answer this weekend. I googled "unusual sightings." I noticed that there are a few videos and photos that seem like hoaxes, but many more looked and sounded exactly like ours. Words used in the videos we found were exactly in our conversation: what are they? this is weird no sound red lights pinkish lights orange lights floating moving slow formation blinked out disappeared one by one pulsating
