oval object with 8 lights that turnt red.

looked like a star at first, then u could see it flash red.it stays betweeen 2 stars. doesnt move from what i could tell. used zoom on camera, an could see an oval object w 8 lights around the bottom. it would disappear off screen, was hard to get on the zoom. could clearly see it change from l blue to red. might b a satalite, but would like to know. it can b seen on a clear night ,to the south at about 10 o clock high.looks like a bright star w one dimmer star above it an one below it.
