I saw a circular object spinning in the stars

I was at my cousins house spending the night. i went swimming at like 12:00. i was watching the sky and i said to my cousin hey whats that?

What i saw was a circular object with lights in a circle, it made large boom like thunder, but i knew there was no storms. it was spinning in the air into the stars.

i went inside because it was creepy
