strange light seen over shapwick area in uplyme uk

i was just getting into my car to vist my girlfriend when i glaced up across the sky towards the south west and i saw a light growing in size and moveing in a strange way, i first thought it was a chinese lantern and was about to drive off, but it started to change direction very fast and moved up and down very mecanicly so i ran back inside my house to find someone else to see it and my dad came out side and watchd it with me for maybe 2 minutes, after a short time it traveled west at a much faster speed, durin the time we watched it it seemed to shrink so small we could not see it. i told my dad i thought it could have been a lantern at first and he agreed it wasnt as the wind was too still to make it move so fast and in diffrent directions.
