Shiny metallic upside down cone shaped object over Jersey Shore.

The sky was crystal clear and the humidity was very low, below 40%.The wind was calm at ground level. I noticed three distinct clouds that caught my intrest. Two were parallel to each other looking like they had been emitted by jet exhaust. They were approximately two miles long.

There was also another cloud just to the east/ south east that was fatter and shorter and was directly over me at one point. All three clouds were dispersing their content as they were being gently moving with the wind to the east / south east. The short fat cloud looked rather strange at the time slowly turning into a circular shape with a waterfall of mist being left behind.

While I was looking at this I notice a stationary speck in the sky just under this cloud. I quickly (10 to 15 seconds) retrieved my binoculars and focused on this object. It moved up into this cloud for 20 seconds then moved back down. When it had cleared the cloud I could see it was a shiny metallic object,! upside down cone shape with a domed top. It was hovering near the cloud for approximately 20 seconds and then started moving down in a slow fluid motion occasionally skipping North East on its seeming descent. It only took 20 seconds of observation before I lost sight of it behind some large trees.

I moved to a clearing but could not regain sight of the object. I do not think this was a metallic Mylar balloon. If it was it would have blown with the winds aloft to the east/ south east.

Object appeared to be much larger than a Mylar balloon also.
