Large cigar chaped object seen near Queens Nassau border--helicopter follows While travelling on the LIRR I saw a large cigar shaped object. It was not moving at all. I couldnt figure out what it was, and it wasnt going up or down or moving closer, or further away. It was grey or silver and large for the distance it was from me. After I got off the train I tried to get a better look at it since I wouldnt be on a moving train, but It was obscured by trees and buildings or it was gone. A few minutes later a dark helicopter with no markings on it flew by in the direction of the object. I tried to see it again, but couldnt. Did anyone else see anything??
