Neon Blue Circle Light in Jefferson County, Missouri

Driving northbound on Hwy 61 toward Festus...witnessed a bright neon blue circle in the sky moving very slowly. Disappeared east into trees and then there was a big blue explosion or flash of blue light. Did not hear any sound with this.
