Sighting in San Francisco

Sitting in a park in San Francisco, we saw one light show up in the sky. Looked like a yellowish star but more clear. Then two more showed up creating a triangle. It held there for a second then shot across east bound and disappeared. This was much higher then a plane, since we do have an airport near by and we see airplanes all the time. This was NOT a plane. It was dead silent, no other lights were blinking on it, and was much faster then a helicopter or airplane. It was amazing.
