Out of ordinary lights in queens As I got off the bus in Flushing, coming home from work, I noticed a light coming from the North west that was moving slightly faster than a low-flying commercial jet would appear to move. The light was a bit bigger than a star, thus the abnormality in its apparent speed, if it were an airplane. The light also seemed very bright and consolidated, with very faint flashing lights. At first I thought it was some kind of orbiting satellite, but that seems unlikely due to its visibility. I live near 2 major airports, JFK and La-Guardia, and see all kinds of aircraft flying overhead at all times of the day. This was different. A plane flying at its height would be fainter, the blinking would be more articulated, and it would be considerably slower. Also, there were other planes in the area, which made it easy to compare. After walking towards my apartment for a minute I turned around and it appeared not to be moving, and seemed to pulsate. Another craft, flying considerably closer than the first one, flew in from the west. It had 4 lights rapidly blinking in an L shaped pattern: 3 of the lights making up the rod of the L were white, while the tip of the L was red. At first I thought it was a helicopter, but it did not sound like one, and I have never seen a helicopter with such a light configuration.
