Bright halogen colored light.

Observed a bright halogen colored light traveling from west to east. Altitude was below other aircraft in the area. This was visible for about ten seconds then disappeared. Was viewed with binoculars but could only see the light which was round in shape. Object was traveling away from my field of view. Also no sound was observed.
