Silver object over Los Angeles

Los Angeles (West Hollywood) CA 7-14-07 Sometime between 5:30 and 6pm on 7-14-07 I relieved a phone call from my partner who was in Baldwin Hills. He told me he saw something floating in the sky.

I went outside and looked in the sky toward the south east. I saw a silver looking object that seemed to cast a triangular or star happed reflection. It floated motionless for about 30 second then disappeared completely. I was very high in the sky.

I don’t know what this object was but I have never seen anything in my life like this.
