Bright white light, oval shape, moving quickly

Night time, after playing cards, me and a friend were watching the skies, saw a larger size bright white light. It began in the far north sky, and was moving north northwest quickly. Seconds later it was seen moving due south, then switched to south east very rapidly. Both of us saw the exact thing. too quick for a plane with no noise made.
