Sphere in Sky

I am reporting this for my mother, here is what she wrote to me. She has pictures of these objects if you would like her to send them.

I noticed this object in the sky, thought it was the moon. It wasn't , the moon was in back of us. There were three objects in the sky, a metallic object that reflected the sun. The other two were just dark cylinders in the sky.
