I did not see the craft at the time, but it was noticed on my return when i downloaded the pictures from my digital camera.

I took one picture on the ferry to Alcatraz, and it can be just made out in the right hand corner , and then took another picture from Alcatraz at about 2 pm and it is more obvious on the second picture.

NUFORC Note:

We have viewed the photo, and concluded that the object most likely is a seagull, viewed from the side. The beak appears to be visible in the photo. PD
