Completely silent White circular orb/sphere witch later had a comet like tail

Was outside my home with my Camcorder when I noticed an all white circle hanging stationery in the sky (started to film it)the object then began to drop slowly at an angle toward's cloud's when it reached the cloud it skirted along the top of it heading westward's it's centre seemed to pulsate as it went and it changed it's size later on it come out of the bottom of some more cloud and twice flashed out when it did this it got bigger then went back to original size it appeared to have a comet like tail behind it as it headed westward's for a brief period before stopping and changing direction going eastward's after a brief period it stopped still and increased in size later I stopped filming it but did not stay to see object go.
