I lost one hour of time this morning. I am a self-employed contractor working in the Medina, OH area. I arrived at a customer's house at exactly 10:30. I know this for a fact because they told me last night to get there on time because they'd be gone until then. Their home is in a remote country setting, and is heavily wooded. The job was a routine one, one that I anticipated would take exactly an hour. I've owned this business for ten years and can predict almost to the minute how long each job will take to do. When I got back in my truck to leave the job, my cell phone (which was in my pocket the whole time) said 11:30, exactly what I predicted it would say. However, the clock in my truck said 12:30. I called my fiancee, and the first words out of her mouth were, "Where have you been for so long?" When I arrived home, all of the clocks said 12:45, whereas my cell phone still was one hour behind. More shocking still was that her cell phone was reading the correct time, 12:45 PM. She and I are on the same cell phone plan, and our clocks are always right in sync with each other. They even automatically change when daylight savings time starts & ends. Needless to say, I'm freaking out right now. I've called my customer asking how long I was at his home & I'm waiting for him to respond. If he says, "About an hour" I will most likely call your hotline number and check out some other websites. Please let me know if anyone else had a similar experience this morning. I don't even believe in this stuff and need an explanation. I don't drink or take drugs, and I got a good night's sleep last night, so I know my mind was stable. Thank you.
