5 Red Glowing Cigar Shaped Ships Sighted at Hermosa Beach in 1967 We were on the boardwalk at the beach, it had just gotten dark when 5 red cigar shaped lights came quickly out of nowhere, moving VERY fast toward the beach. About 1 mile out they simply stopped and hovered there for a minute and then left even more quickly than they came. When they left, they went back in the direction they had come from, the horizon, and it was so fast that they almost seemed to diappear. Everyone saw them.
