...Just a little to weird to be a star.

Ok. I've never reported here, and this seems a little wierd. Recently I've been watching a particularly bright star, south of Orion. The reason I noticed it was because it was moving, but only slowly and sparadically. I was using powerlines the first few nights as a point of reference. It seems to stay in the same place every night in reference to the stars, but it moves to noticably to be a star. Tonight I had a few friends tell me about it, and I hadn't said a thing. Now they are telling me that there are at least two more like it below it. The bright one blinks from white to green to red as well. I've noticed it for about a month or so.

NUFORC Note:

We suspect that a "twinkling" star may have been the cause of the sighting. PD
