On Sunday 2nd of March 2003 at about 2.30pm It was a hot sunny day so I thought I would clean the inside of the car out as I had packed up smoking a few months earlier and still I could smell what I thought to remnants of tobacco, so I would go out and give the car a really good clean.

While cleaning the car I just happened to look up and saw some thing I could not make out to be a plane, it was long kind of a stick with no wings white in colour with a red kind of light at the near side end that would pulse on and off with a glowing intensity realising I was looking at some thing out of the ordinary I ran in to tell my wife and two children who then went to the back garden to look for themselves I then ran to get my binoculars and joined the wife and boys who were by now just standing there looking up at the object looking through the binoculars I could see that it had no wings and was white in colour and what seemed to be a red light looked like some kind of exhaust which would glow with such intensity that it would obscure the object and then the glow down to a point where you could clearly see a type of exhaust.

The object was in a clear blue sky with no clouds of any type what so ever to obscure anything it was clearly visible in every way.

One thing I did note was that it seemed enormous, We have a flight path right over the place we live and are accustomed to seeing lots of different sized planes at all different hights, but I did notice that at the time there wasn't any planes visible anywhere in the sky.

This object seemed to much bigger than the normal sized passenger planes, and I remember quite clearly at the beginning of the sighting it was a lot lower in the sky and as the time went on it got higher and higher the last time I saw it through the binoculars it was much much higher then I have ever seen any plane at.

It was going off in a westerly direction from my house and was getting harder and harder to see one thing I do regret was that I grabbed the binoculars instead of the camera.
