Was taking pictures of the westerly New Hamphire mountains while hiking. Object was silent and appeared to be banking in the sky. It was elongated, red in color with black port holes and was glowing only where the body met the wings. Very thin. Also several months later my sister spotted another similar while driving home late one night in the nearby town of Limerick. Similar description.
