fast shiny shaped like a star on its side hovering

So very shiny...very bright like shiny metal, no lights or anything that i could tell, but it was during the day, hovering in place for a while, then went right and then straight up in the air, extrememely fast. i was in southern Ny, maybe in Pa by then just past Binghamton, Ny on 81, i was in a valley in the mountains, other people were pulled over on the road also looking at it before i got there...
