Non-moving lights in the southwestern sky.

There was a grouping of red lights, not blinking and not moving, southwest of Scottsdale. They were kind of in a half triangle, and if looking directly west, the lights were at about 20 degrees. It was too far away to tell if it was actually an object or not. But while I was looking through the binoculars, the lights went out, one by one. There was no sound, and the object looked to be west of Phoenix. I don't drink or smoke, and I'd never do drugs, so I know I wasn't imagining things. I'm not a believer in UFOs, but ((name of investigator deleted)) convinced me to write to this website.
