sighting took place to the east of sandy city (suburb of slc) above the little cottonwood canyon. object seemed to float occasionally making right angle movements rapidly. size about a half dollar. triangle in shape, looked almost holographic. lightning/storms were to the south of object behind mtn peaks. lighting/colors rotated white/purple/red/blue .
