Over the past few months, NUFORC investigators dug into several of our best cases from 2024, performing witness interviews and contacting officials to gather more information. In all four of the cases below, the witnesses were deemed to be credible, and their experiences to be of an anomalous nature.

Its been a week since we first posted our first thoughts on the mystery drone situation plaguing the country. In that time, we have received 65 new reports of objects conforming to the general “drone” description, that is flying very low, large size, and with bright flashing lights (more come in hour by hour). Despite the intense attention being paid to the phenomenon and the massive number of sightings, the situation remains that not a single one of these craft has been identified, nor has anyone witnessed a single takeoff or landing.

Foo fighters” were unexplained aerial phenomena reported by pilots during World War II. These sightings, often described as glowing orbs or balls of light, appeared to follow aircraft and perform maneuvers that seemed beyond the capabilities of known technology at the time. Despite many theories, ranging from enemy aircraft to natural atmospheric phenomena, the exact nature of foo fighters remains a mystery. They are considered an early example of UFO sightings.

On April 8, 2024, around 7:45 PM local time in Seagoville, TX, a witness reported observing a triangular-shaped craft near their home close to Simonds and Bowers Rd, behind the prison and army reserves. This sighting occurred just after sunset during the night of a total eclipse. The craft, estimated to be 30-50 feet wide, appeared less than 100 feet above the ground with bright white lights at each of its three corners.
