small round object moved across sky from s.e to n.w at high velocity without trail no noise, disappeared

it came out of the horizon, since there were many people throwing fireworks i thought it was that at first but it didn't catch fire and was moving at rapid speed, it didn't seem to be very far up we could really make out the color and shape, it went overhead and it just disappeared
