Loud humming sound off and on, unlike any type of plane, car or helicopter.

I have not seen anything yet, but there is a loud humming noise that wakes me up between 3 AM and 5 AM every night lately. It's indescribable really. Doesn't sound like anything a human could make or produce from an object.
