Object moved bright and then dimmed towards left and then right and again bright moved left..slowly though

i saw light moving slowly towards left and the vanish and again moved towards right for while and dimmed and then moved left for a while slowly.
from where iam watching it is pointing towards northen sky's with 2 bright stars on right and 3 light stars on left like pentagon.
