Silent Orb Emits Blue Beam, Four Witnesses, 2+ Hours Missing Time — Midway, AR 199Terrifying
I am submitting this report 30 years after the event. From age 3 to 15, I grew up near Midway Airport in Arkansas. I know what aircraft look and sound like. What I witnessed that night was not an aircraft.
There were four of us — two of us were 12, one was 11, and one was 9 or 10.
I first spotted the object through the branches of a large oak tree — roughly three times brighter than Venus, moving in a silent, sideways figure-eight pattern. When friends suggested a plane or helicopter, I pointed at the actual water tower, “No. That’s the water tower,” then 60 degrees away toward the object: “What the hell is that?”
I had grown up next to this airport. Nothing flew like that. When we reached open sky at the end of the driveway, it was gone.
We encountered it again minutes later in an open field off Freddie Byrd Lane — same silent acrobatics, instantaneous direction changes. We had been watching roughly one to two minutes when it acted.
A beam of intense, cold, bright blue light extended from the object — estimated 750 to 1,000 feet away — and enveloped all four of us. Sound disappeared completely. My friend C’s hair was thrown back, floating in slow motion as if underwater. His face was terror. None of us could speak or move.
Then it released us. The beam cut off. I looked back up toward the orb, and it was at that moment it shot off, away and toward space. It vanished completely in under three seconds. No sound. No trail.
Our bikes were on the ground. We were sitting in positions we hadn’t been in before. We rode hard back to the house. I checked the clock. It was 11:23 PM. We had entered that field no later than 9:12 PM.
More than two hours were gone.
I am now a medical professional with a masters degree come out for the lead patient. I am not reporting this for attention. I am reporting it because it happened, because four of us were there, and because it should be in the record.
