Multiple lights in the sky in line and also in different locations in the sky

While driving, a single orb of light slowly flashed in the sky. Thought it might have been a shooting star, but then more started showing up and with cars passing by and the orbs still showing up, I had a feeling that light pollution wasnt a factor for any celestial reasoning.
