Location details: I was home near wilsonville and looked. In the SE sky about 30 mi away. Saw a small orange light

Saw item stationary in night sky. Moved when plane nearby then back to same location. Saw 2 times.
Saw small orange sphere in the sky as i was closing curtain for night. Got binoculars and saw triangular shape with orb at apex and layers of light below. Not plane or other aircraft. Noted that a flash of yellow, orange and red light cut across triangle from L to R about every 7-8 min. Also saw it move in sky slowly about 10 inches in sky when a plane came across sky. It returned to its location as plane passed by. This happened at least 2x as i observed it do same action w 2 different aircraft over a 25 min period.
Location is near/above oregon state university research center off Miley Road and also Aurora Airport.
