UAP Drone goes dark

This flying aircraft was making an unusual maneuver so as I was shadowing it. Suddenly it started changing light signals mid flight, and returned back to the direction it came from. Once it stopped moving the lights changed again to its original red blinking light sequence. And then suddenly in mid air, it went dark. In the moonlight I saw what I believe was that Aircraft make a rapid boomerang maneuver.
