Hypersonic blinking green light

Time of Sighting: Approximately 00:10 local time (Kuwait)
Duration of Sighting: About 15 seconds (initial streak was brief, then observed longer while tracking it)

My wife and I observed a fast-moving aerial object from our hotel room window, initially facing south. It first appeared as a bright horizontal streak across the sky, similar to a meteor entering the atmosphere. I immediately moved closer to the window to track it.

As I followed its path, the object noticeably slowed down. At this point, I observed a steady blinking green light, which appeared on what would be the correct (starboard) side for a conventional aircraft. However, there was no visible red port light, white strobe, or tail light that I could detect. After slowing, the object then accelerated rapidly again and made a sharp turn to the north before disappearing from view.

The speed was extraordinary—estimated at Mach 2 or possibly Mach 3 based on my experience. I am a qualified F-18 pilot and am very familiar with high-performance military and civilian aircraft appearances, speeds, and lighting at night. Conventional jets at those speeds would produce a visible sonic boom (especially over land), but there was absolutely no sound or boom heard. The maneuvers (deceleration, sharp turn, and re-acceleration) also do not align with known aircraft performance.

No photos or video were captured, as the event was brief and unexpected. The sky was clear with no notable weather interference.

This was not a meteor (due to the slowing, blinking light, and directional change), drone (too fast and high), or conventional aircraft/military jet (no boom, unusual lighting and maneuvers). It remains unidentified to me.
