Dark triangle shaped object, with three dimly lit lights on corners, moving across the sky

While taking the dog out, I was staring at the stars. I then noticed three faintly lit lights moving across the sky from northeast to southwest. There was no sound. While the object moved quickly, I was still able to track it across the sky for a few seconds before it was out of sight. The object itself could have been black, as it blended into the nighttime sky.
