Red light in sky, very faint, then erupted into a light show, then move to the left to the right and then down

Saw red dot in the sky, then saw it moving then it stopped then it did almost display of light after the display of light. I could see a large dark mass around it being I guess the ship then it faded to a red dot again sat there for a few seconds, then bright as hell looks like it was coming straight to me, then went down and I couldn’t see it anymore
