Broad daylight. Objects easily seen.

I was 11 yrs. old. My brother was 6. My father was driving the family station wagon south on I-25. We were situated in the rear of the vehicle looking out the back window. Suddenly, two metallic objects descended into view. One took a position behind our vehicle about 40 feet straight out and about 50 feet in elevation. The other object took up a similar position behind another vehicle on the freeway. That vehicle was a distance behind us but easily visible.
The object behind us had no markings or windows that I could see. It was not quite circular. I'm guessing it was about 30-40 feet long and 30 feet at wide at it's mid-section. I did notice a large unmarked tail fin. Absolutely no wings! It kept pace with our vehicle, so about 60 to 70 mph. After a few miles the road turned left. The objects did not turn and continued straight ahead. They kept a steady speed. At no time was there a rapid acceleration or abrupt change in course. I kept eye contact till the distance became to great. The last detail I could make out was that the lead object had stopped and hovered over a small hill.

Some details may be a little fuzzy. Keep in mind I was 11 yrs. old. I am now 72.
