Extremely bright point of light moving east, faded after about 1 minute.

At approximately 8:30 PM EDT on September 12, 2025, in Lincoln, Maine, two witnesses observed a single, extremely bright point of light in the sky. The object was much brighter than the Moon, comparable to looking directly at a powerful flashlight. It traveled steadily eastward in a straight line at a speed similar to a satellite. The light did not blink, flicker, or produce any sound. It remained visible for about one minute before dimming and disappearing above the horizon. The object appeared as a sharp point of light (not fuzzy or cloud-like) and did not show a tail or trail. Initially, we thought it might be a drone due to its brightness, but its altitude, motion, and lack of blinking lights made that unlikely.
