Silent Silver Orb

I was sitting in my vehicle when through the glass roof I noticed a metal ball flying overhead. I got out of the vehicle and continued to watch it until it was completely out of view due to trees. It was a silent silver orb, roughly 5' in diameter and a couple hundred feet up cruising above the treetops. Speeding at roughly 70-100mph. Moving northwest.

The motion was strange in that the speed and direction seemed so constant, that it gave the impression of being impervious to wind. The forest was quiet, not really any wind at the moment either, and the orb made absolutely no noise.

Roughly 20min later, I observed two low-flying military helicopters headed in the direction of where I saw the orb. This is the first time I have experienced low-flying military helicopters in this location, though I have only lived there for a year.
