Explanation: Balloon - Possible
Anomaly remained stationary and visible throughout observation period, except when temporarily obscured by passing cloud.
Single anomaly observed optically, but a second similar but slightly smaller and (relative to the principle) tilted anomaly (probably a refection) noted on one of the attached photos, above and to left of the optically observed anomaly. All photos taken with iphone camera. Sun positional proximity was such that it adversely affected direct eyeballing of the anomaly via camera zoom.
Eyeballed, the anomaly appeared white, stationary, and to have sort of an hourglass shape. Photos of the anomaly, when zoomed/enlarged, ambiguously appear to depict two bright circles secantically connected (or simply accompanied) by a thin, straight white line, its ends terminating in or near the center of each circle.
While the anomaly appeared to be a uniform white when eyeballed, the two opposing circles on the photographed anomaly (when enlarged) are different shades, one white, the other more cream-colored.
The anomaly appeared to remain perfectly stationary throughout the period we observed it. It was briefly obscured by a passing cloud, but reappeared afterward.
The anomaly appeared to remain a uniform brightness throughout observation period, i.e., no pulsing, etc.
My wife and I are both retired and live in the country. I am former military and federal SES, and my wife is a former teacher.
For what it’s worth, our guess is the anomaly is a reflection or balloon.
