Fast moving object, appears and disappears quickly

I was driving over the eastern most bridge on Pineda Causeway looking north towards the NASA VAB which is visible from the top of the bridge, approx 80ft high. The sun was rising and I saw, clearly, an orange appearing light moving horizontally towards me at approx a 45-60 degree angle to the south west. It lasted for about 2 seconds, turned white, then vanished completely. There was no trail, no smoke, no blinking/flickering, no lateral or deviation in it's path.
