The object was moving in ways that a plane would not be able to it moved up and down and side to side loud humming sound

The object appeared to be just hovering in the sky and making a very loud humming sound and was moving side to side and there were lights on the craft and nothing else was making noise just that and I’m pretty sure there were more witnesses cause I could hear people talking about it saying look in the sky
