We were in our backyard watching fireworks from the street over when we noticed the red orb in the sky. It stood out immediately—unlike anything else in the night sky. While others were looking toward the fireworks, our attention was drawn to this slow-moving, glowing red object silently gliding above and behind the trees. It wasn’t part of the firework show, and it didn’t behave like a typical aircraft or drone.
