Bright light ascending into the sky. No trail. Circular light shape. Super bright. Ascended up thru clouds rather quickly
A single bright light was seen in my peripheral vision as we travelled home. I continued looking, realizing this was WAY brighter and larger than any star I’ve ever seen. I pointed it out to my husband who agreed it was very bright. I then noticed the light ascending up through the clouds to confirm it couldn’t be a star. There was no trail of any type following the ascending light. I see no reports of rocket launches visible from South Carolina at this time.
