I can not give you exact number of the orbs that were seen but there were many of them

The orbs would appear and disappear rapidly sometimes and formed strange formations including a large triangle, some of them flew in formation of a staggered single file line. A few of them seemed to appear out of nowhere very close to the tree line and then would reappear again further away closer to the others that were traveling in formation. I tried to observe them through a telescope but each time I pin pointed one of them with my lense it would immediately move from my sight. Others also seemed to collect the smaller ones or divide themselves into multiples... I am having a hard time describing what I witnessed but it went on for a long time it felt like and this is best description I can give of the events.
