Searing Metal Dropped From 'Strange Object' on near northeastside of Indianapolis 28th Street and Adams
Searing Metal Dropped From 'Strange Object'. Residents on the city's Northeastside reported a strange object in the sky dropped a searing metal wire last night, police said. They told police about 20 other persons saw a flying object drop a 12-inch long piece of wire, too hot to touch, about 11:20 p.m, near 28th and Adams. They said the object was too high to see clearly but that it was emitting sparks and fire as it flew across the sky. Police later found the wire and took it to the police property room.
